John Livingstone – Photographer of the Decisive Moment
John Livingstone is an American master photographer whose work spans 50 years. He is a World War II combat veteran and served during the cold war in Europe as a U.S. Intelligence officer.
Livingstone has always put first living subject matter, in his words, decisive moments, in the tradition of renowned French photographers Henri-Cartier Bresson, Robert Doisneau and Brassai.
Livingstone’s photos have won numerous worldwide awards and prior to the new johnlivingstone.net web gallery his work has been available only in private collections and select galleries, including the Pentagon, the Smithsonian Institution and the Mozarteum in Salzburg Austria.
